Hi, I’m David Michael.

I’m a photographer and filmmaker with a love for storytelling, honest moments, and the kind of images that feel alive long after the shutter clicks.

I live in Colorado with my wife, Fari, and our son, David. When I’m not photographing weddings, families, portraits, or the beautifully unscripted moments that matter most, you’ll probably find me with coffee in hand, exploring the outdoors, chasing mountain views, gaming, watching movies, reading, or wandering through some fantasy or sci-fi universe. I’m equally happy hiking beneath a wide-open sky as I am adventuring through Skyrim, sipping a Butterbeer, or getting wonderfully lost in something nerdy.

My love for photography began when I was an early teen and picked up my first Polaroid. Watching an image I had captured appear right in front of me felt like magic, and honestly, it still does.

Since then, that passion has grown into both photography and film. I earned degrees in Film and Photography, which deepened my appreciation for composition, light, creativity, and storytelling. More than anything, it taught me how powerful an image can be when it reflects something real.

Whether I’m capturing a wedding day, a quiet family moment, a portrait, or a story unfolding in motion, my goal is simple: to create images that feel meaningful, natural, and true to you.
